The Steve Waugh SCG AR app will immerse and transport you into Steve Waugh’s shoes on the day he penned himself into cricketing history, scoring a last ball century in the 2003 Ashes Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Become immersed in this augmented reality (AR) experience, as commentary from Steve Waugh provides a unique insight into his thoughts on the day that he measured up to his career saving innings.
The app utilises your phone’s camera to place Steve Waugh within your environment in AR, allowing you to relive Steve’s “Perfect Day” and interact with historical items like his Baggy Green, bat and his famous lucky red handkerchief.
In addition to interactive items, the app will also enable you to take a selfie with Steve to share on social channels. Make sure to use the hashtag #SteveWaughAR.
